A conversation I had with an acquaintence at the cafe/bar tonight made me really upset. He was telling me how beautiful I was etc etc (he's not interested, he has a wife and is 28476032498 years older then me) but then he told me I could afford to lose a few pounds because that would make me a "knockout."

I sat there and tried to explain to him, in simple terms, that I'm happy with myself AND I'm confident. He went on to explain that my posture (I have big boobs, sorry, I'm going to slouch some) tells him that I have no confidence or self esteem. I took into account that he had had a few beers but.....god....way to "compliment" me eh?

I honestly haven't tried to think about it....but it still amazes me that people have the balls to say such things, I mean....I'm used to my family saying stuff like "you'd be so much prettier if you lost 20 pounds" AND I really don't talk to the guy very often....I'm trying to just chock it up to a combination of alcohol and ignorance but...seriously....wtf.
