I just got back from a trip to Catherine's. I know they don't always have the most stylish stuff, but they're introducing a new line of dress pants in a couple weeks and my friend who works there made me try them on. I didn't expect much because dress pants are usually my clothing nemesis. I just figured this was another gimmick to try and sell me more pants that don't fit.
I was so wrong!
These pants are great! I'm a pear, and the butt fit great and the legs didn't flap in the breeze. They are proportioned perfectly. I was so happy, that I bought them in black and am going to order them in navy and brown!
There are three types, which are identified by colors: red, yellow, and blue. They also have regular and short... not sure about talls. Each color corresponds to a different body type.
I guess these are the dress pant equivalent to the Lane Bryant jeans. The same company owns LB, Catherine's and Fashion Bug. My friend said that Fashion Bug should be switching to this system next year.
So anyway, if you are like me and have a terrible time finding pants that fit, I'd say give these a try. I'm probably the happiest I've ever been with a pair of "off the rack, no alterations" pants.
