Can a man be a woman's friend? I mean, not a partner, not a lover, just a friend?
For myself it's yes, cause I do have female as well as male friends. I've always considered that normal, and never thought about it. But in all cases I'm the only male friend they have, and this week one of them said she never believed she would be "just friends" with a guy.
That reminded me of a one-liner from a studymate. He said, we "nerds" have some female qualities, cause we're creative, not macho, can listen, etc., and therefore we can be a woman's friend. I never really believed that, cause I never thought friendship between men and women could be difficult.
But what are your thoughts/experiences?
