This is a bit of a simple idea.
Basically, the media controls its content. However, if the people rise up in protest, the media will change the way in which it slants its articles, and sometimes even prints the truth.
Digg.com is, admittedly, a media tool. From there, people can "digg" an article or "bury" it, and the one with the most "diggs" gains increased exposure. By using this as a barometer, the news corporations has insight as to what's getting people's attention.
So far, so good. Now for the idea.
If a bunch of FAs, BBWs and other Dimmers signed up for accounts at Digg.com and did a daily search for the most recent articles on "fat" or "obesity" and digged the accurate ones, while burying the inaccurate and/or biased ones (i.e. most of them), it would put greater emphasis on the importance of truth and the need for size acceptance.
It would only take a few minutes per day, and give size acceptance an increased exposure even if we contributed no content ourselves.
This idea has come from an Anonymous forum where they're doing the same thing with Scientology articles.
