I read through the other post by Lord on the DREAM Act, and no one seemed to know this, from Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions' office:
DREAM puports to be for children of illegal parents who were raised in the States from an early age. It is no such thing. In the bill itself, the minimum age for the DREAM Act is entry into the States prior to the age of 16 years old.
More importantly, there is no enforcement. That means one only has to claim one was 16 years old and claim one attended two years of college to be a beneficiary. No documentation is required. In fact, any person who applies automatically gets a ten year grace period with documents to stay in the States, regardless if he or she actually qualifies or not. And remember, no one will actually follow up on the application.
In other words, anyone who wants can apply. No one who applies will be turned down. All that is is amnesty. Why do you think the usual suspects want it so bad?
