You are throwing a concert, money is no object, and the laws of Time&Space have cut you some slack (Dead musicians are OK...Yes, you can have The Beatles...).

Name the 5 Bands/performers/whatever that you would want...

I was tempted to have Wagner doing the entire Ring Trilogy...but I held off.

1. Flotsam&Jetsam (Circa 1986,Jason Newsted still in the band)

2. Kiss (Circa 1987 Love Gun era...)

3. Iron Maiden (Circa...Man, I love 'Circa' 1984 Powerslave...I actually saw this tour, but would love to again)

4. Judas Priest (Cir...Somewhere around 1982, Defenders of the Faith)

5. Yngwie Malmsteen (1984, so that Rising Force and marching Out were available for the set)

I've seen all of these bands, and it would surprise folks that knew me better that there aren't any Death/Black metal bands in there, but these are the bands that rank as my favorite ones before I got into the harder stuff.

1. The original Allman Brothers Band (i.e., with Duane and Berry)
2. The Lynyrd Skynyrd lineup from the Street Survivors album.
3. Derek & the Dominos
4. The original Who
5. tie between the original Black Sabbath and the Grateful Dead lineup from the Dead Set/Go to Heaven albums

I know we're only allowed 5, but since I'm throwing the concert I'd also have my band be the opening act.

And as host I would require that my bandmates and I have the opportunity to party with, jam with or sleep with any of the musicians from those 5 acts that we choose.

Oh oh I'll play. Uriel, your lineup is good. I'd buy a ticket.

This is actually really hard, but I think my concert lineup would be:

The Pixies
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (I will never tire of seeing these guys live)
PJ Harvey
Sleater-Kinney
Cat Power (I've never seen her live and I hear she does weird things on stage. I'd love to see that.)

Luna Mortis
Evanescence
The Killers
Air Traffic
Muse

What ever the configuration, Muse would be the "Headliner" so to speak.

1. Grateful Dead (With Pigpen and T.C., circa '69)
2. Pink Floyd (w/Syd Barrett, even though I'm a huge Gilmour fan)
3. Death (Leprosy LP lineup)
4. Ramones (Any era- blew my chance to see them a few times. One of my few regrets)
5. Agnostic Front (Live at CBGB's/Liberty and Justice era. I know they're touring right now, but Roger's vocals have gotten too weird...)

Of course GD would have to play last since they would probably go on for 5-6 hours, if they felt like it...

Hard not to include the Beatles, but they had issues playing live due to the screaming and poor PA systems back then. I'd rather see them in the Cavern era, or maybe the White Album era, if I'm allowed to dream...:)
