I just came across a trailer for a new movie called Fat Girls, which is opening Nov. 2 in NYC. Im not sure if the movie is actually "new" or not, as it looks like it toured film festivals in 2006, though. Anyway, it looks really cute, funny, sweet, gentle, honest, etc. I hope it really is! lol Anyway, there is a young fat actress playing one of the lead roles, named Ashley Fink. She is quite beautiful and I just hope this role opens some doors for her. We'll see. I'm not sure what the actual storyline of the movie is, but it would be nice to have a movie that touches on what it means to be fat and queer!
