I thought it might be nice to see photos/videos/links of favorite places you personally love to go to.
Here are 2 videos of my absolute favorite No. CA beach areas to go to - both videos show just how - the first is Goat Rock State Beach - the 1st couple of minutes are just the host talking but he has the video running while driving to the beach area. Goat Rock is the huge rock just off the shore - the beach heading to the north has a huge seal rookery (you aren't allowed to get too close) along the Russian River that connects to the Pacific.

Just south (about 10 miles) of Goat Rock is the town of Bodega Bay - this 2nd video shows Bodega Bay Headlands - a phenomenal place to watch whales migrating, firefighters do practice rescue rock climbing, or just to see the coastline for miles on end.
