I've lost over 60 pounds in the last year simply by increasing my physical activity level, and while I've switched to healthier foods, I still eat in excess of 2500 calories every day. When I started, I was winded after a couple blocks of walking, so it's not like it was easy.

I realise that not everyone was in the same circumstances as me, but I am curious why you chose the operation instead of old fashion diet and exercise. I won't beat around the bush: I do have a somewhat dim view of WLS. I want to know the other side of the coin as it were.
