...I thought I'd share something that was told to me this past weekend as I was caring for an 85-year-old woman:
Li, who lived through WWII in Germany, told me that the far-right in this country (aka, the Republican party as it currently stands) reminds her of the rise of the Nazis in the 1930s.
About the far-right fascists that are currently in power in the Congress and their idiot dupes she said, and I quote: "It's quite sad. I started my life in Nazi Germany and I'm ending it with this shit."
