Hey all!
Any advice for someone moving into the real world from the college/dorm experience? My roommate, myself, another young woman, a guy from our dorm and possibly two others are trying to get a place together, be it an apartment or a house.
Besides rent, which we can find out, what about utilities? Any estimates for how much that is, based on personal experiences? How about how they vary month-to-month?
What about food? How much would you set aside for groceries, and any tips for saving money in that department? How about some recipes?
What about buying cookware? Because that is expensive!
Any other neat living tricks you can tell me would be great.
