Hair cut advice!

Okay, so I have had long hair for 2 years and I am thinking about cutting it, because it is really time to get rid of it. I always put it up in a pony tail and I want a more wash and wear look . . . it takes like 30 min to blow dry my hair, sometimes longer, which is sooooo annoying!

This is me a few years ago with short hair . . .

Any ideas on a cut or how short i should cut it!
