Having recently recalled "The Big Star" story that was posted on the forums back in 2005 (if I recall correctly, more information can be found here), I thought that I might try my hand at rewriting it (given that it is several years old, was of inappropriate content, was never finished, yet developed a fair bit of interest, it seems like the perfect rewrite candidate). However, my memory of the story is rather vague (it involved a farm girl, a wishing well, and weight gain... not much to base a rewrite on). By chance might someone aid me in this endeavor?

I suppose in part this is a "story request" thread in that, ideally, someone might be able to point me to an original version of the story that is still extant somewhere (I've looked to no luck). Of course, all things considered, that might not be possible, so if someone might be willing to share what memories they might have of this story (so that I can better follow the original story, in hopes of preserving what made it interesting in the first place, cutting out what got it banned, and adding my own eddaic touch).

Of course, if anyone wants to also give guidance as to how this story might best be rewritten (in terms of reader interest, avoiding prior mistakes, etc), such is always welcomed.

And for anyone who is curious about my other, still unfinished, rewrite project, Dinner for Four, I haven't forgotten it. I just wrote myself into a corner and have yet to figure out how to extract myself.
