Ok, I realize this is not BHM-specific, but what the hell 
I was just on another thread and was coveting someone else's impressive collection of eyeshadow colours, as I'm a poor student who can't really afford to buy this stuff. Also, I'm kind of manly and never really learned how to wear anything beyond lip gloss...but it's still pretty and looks like it would be fun to experiment.
Anyway, it also got me wondering if men really care about/enjoy bright, obvious makeup on women. Some women take a LONG time getting it all together - is their effort all for naught (assuming they are not just doing it for themselves)? There is no right or wrong answer here, just so you know. I think some men feel compelled to say that they love "natural" women, even when they do not, and vice versa, so let's just cut the crap What do you actually think?
And women can feel free to toss in their two cents, too.
