While many people did things in high school they're not proud of Mitt Romney's early life as a bully illuminates much about his present psyche. Its evidence that his lack of empathy for those who are different or less fortunate is long standing (i.e. "I don't care about poor people").

The fact that he claims not to remember running down, tackling, and forcibly cutting the hair of a fellow student is also telling (I don't believe for a moment he doesn't remember). Also, his apology sucked -- admitting to "hijinks" gone too far shows he, even now, doesn't understand how wrong he was.
