so, i'm thinking about attending niu, and i was looking around at the student housing, and i'm really getting annoyed...

most of the beds are lofted... and not only do i have a fear of falling (not a fear of heights), but i'm afraid that their beds won't hold all of my squishiness... and falling from heights is bad... i'd even be worried about sleeping on a bottom bunk, so i thought i could throw an inflatable mattress on the floor at night...

does anyone here have experience with lofted beds?

and what kind of bathroom/shower situation do they have? i've seen only one suite style with a bathroom... and i'm just not going to use a public shower. that's disgusting (yeah, i'm quirky).

thanks in advance.
