Not yet 21...*Question*

I think about going to California (L.A., Hollywood, Santa Monica...) this summer, I want to spent about 3 weeks there because it was so incredibly beautiful when i was there 3 years ago. Do you think it is difficult to get into a club at only 19 ? Do they always check the IDs ? I look older than I am (at least I think so), so how are the odds for me getting in ?
I don't drink anyway !
