Oscar noms are out!
Personally, I'm pumped.
Especially about Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds, and Morgan Freeman for Invictus. I'm predicting that Avatar will pull in most of what it's nominated for, but I hope that it doesn't win Best Picture, because (in my opinion) it doesn't deserve the title.
Mo'Nique is up for supporting actress for Precious; I'm rooting for her, even though I haven't seen the film yet. However, it's up against District 9 for adapted screenplay, and as a sci-fi buff I think I'm going to have to root for the latter... but I predict a few cinema visits in the near future, so that might change.
