Here's an article from the AP that I noticed that happened to bring up a particularly good point about the reality of being fat in our society and how it's approached - there's too many groups trying to STOP obesity (particularly in children) and not enough groups to SUPPORT those who are fat and subject to ridicule and pressure... and help them realize that they are valuable and beautiful people.

Much of the article is just stating things we know (see the title) from being fat ourselves or being in the life of someone who is fat, but I think it's still well put.
