Rape, murder suspect buried alive beneath coffin of alleged victim

A 17-year-old Bolivian who was identified as the main suspect in the rape and murder of a 35-year-old woman was grabbed by a furious mob, thrown into her open grave and buried alive. While Santos Ramos was being captured, tied up and taken to the cemetery by a group of more than 200 residents, other locals blocked the roads to prevent the police from reaching the remote town. A local radio reporter who spoke on the condition that he would not be identified said that Ramos was dropped into the grave before the coffin of his alleged victim, Leandra Arias Janco, was placed on top of him. The grave was then completely filled, sealing them both inside.
M2M's comments, the mob's actions, altho bizarrely innovative, should be effective in the following areas of justice . . . .
1. The perp received swift justice and will never commit the crime again, and
2. The girl's family was avenged, and
3. It will be a long time before the crimes of rape with murder are committed again in this village (and the ones nearby), and
4. Similar crimes such those involving killing/raping children may involve punishment even
worse.
