~BBW, Superpowers, ~MWG - a super heroine goes supersize

Scarlet Rose: The Largest Hero
by That Pumpkin

To most people, it would seem that Alice Albertson led a fairly normal life. She lived alone in a fairly normal apartment. She paid for that apartment with money from her fairly normal job as a middle school secretary. She drove to her job in a fairly normal VW Beetle.

Many other women would call her wardrobe fairly normal as well, usually khaki work pants with either a blouse or a sweater that outlined her fairly normal bust. The only thing that seemed not so normal about her was her bright red hair that was commonly pulled up into a long ponytail or tight bun. But Alice was a pleasant woman who enjoyed both her jobs.

You see, Alice wasn’t just a fairly normal secretary. Behind the scenes she was the fairly un-normal super heroine, The Scarlet Rose, the girl who could fly and punch through walls.

For a super hero, these powers were pretty standard, but that didn’t stop Alice from becoming one of the city’s most well-known heroes. The Scarlet Rose had not been a name she had chosen for herself, like many heroes, the public had chosen it for her after they began to recognize her bright red hair, which she wore down while she fought crime.

On the day that our story begins, Alice was currently tied to a table in an abandoned warehouse that was being used as a laboratory by one of her common enemies, Zero the Magnificent, an extremely smart magician who had gone mad after a particularly bad show that had resulted in him getting laughed off the stage.

“Wait till you see the effects of my new ray gun Miss Rose, it’s quite…. magical.” Zero cackled nefariously.

“Let me go Zero, the authorities are already on their way and you’ve lost once again.” Alice replied, she was trying to hide how nervous she was about the situation she was in. She prayed that the chief of police would hurry up.

The evil magician frowned. “Very well, you’ve forced me to make my escape early Miss Rose.”

He turned and began to step away from the machine. Then he smiled wickedly.

“Just kidding.” He flipped a switch and a blast of brilliant green light shot from the end of the ray gun.

Alice felt a tingle surround her body. Being a very ticklish woman, she began to laugh. She continued laughing until she fainted a few moments later. She felt someone shaking her awake, then Alice heard a voice that was not Zero’s.

“Scarlet, are you alright?” It was the chief of police. He had untied her from the table and had carried her to a hospital gurney.

Alice looked down at herself and nodded. “Looks like it. Guess his ray gun wasn’t as special as he thought it was.” She smiled at the chief. “Did you catch him?”

The chief frowned. “Unfortunately we did not. He was gone by the time we got here, but I’m glad he left you in one piece Scarlet. Do you need a lift somewhere? I can get one of the boys over here in a squad car if you’d like.”

She shook her head. “No thanks, I feel well enough to fly.”

She lifted herself up off the gurney and floated a few feet above the chief.

“Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye out for Zero and let you know the minute I catch wind of him.” She gave him a small wave and then flew off into the night.

Later, Alice sat on the couch in her apartment, too tired to remove her Scarlet Rose costume. It was been a strange night, and although there were no side effects so far, Zero’s machine had taken a lot of her energy. She yawned, thankful that the school was on winter break and that she did not have to go into work tomorrow.

Sometimes it was hard for her to balance the two jobs that she had. The children who came to the office often always seemed to be attentive and would notice her visible battle wounds. It was easy to blame small things on bumping into sharp corners or dropping a knife in the kitchen, but larger things like bruised eyes and busted lips were harder to cover up. Alice knew some of the staff believed her to be in an abusive relationship.

But she loved being the Scarlet Rose. Saving people was Alice’s true passion, and if she could make it her full time job then she probably would. Like every super hero, she knew revealing her secret identity would put her dear mother and father in danger and even her sister who lived out in the country might fall into harm’s way.

Slowly, Alice sat up on the couch and walked over to her apartment door. She made sure it was locked up tight and then pulled the curtains of her windows shut. Then she lay back down on her couch and pulled her dark black cape around her red spandex outfit. Alice was too tired to change into pajamas and go to her bedroom and it wasn’t like she was going to get any visitors anyhow.

Alice slipped off her mask and placed it on the table next to her. She thought about the day’s events as she stared at it. She decided that tomorrow would be a better day. She would team of with the chief and the rest of the city’s force and make sure Zero was brought back to jail. Alice thought about even stopping by the lab and seeing if the boys had analyzed the ray gun yet. Maybe she could find out what really happened.

As she snuggled into her cape and fell into a deep sleep, she had no idea that she would find out soon enough.

“What the hell!?” She screamed the next morning as she stared at herself in the mirror. As she stared at her new condition, Alice realized just what Zero’s ray had done to her. It had taken a few hours, but she had gained over enough weight to be just over three hundred pounds now.

Incredibly enough, her spandex costume had grown with her, but still seemed tighter than ever before. It clung tightly to her enormous breasts and her belly that was now so large it had two folds. She gently touched one of her puffy, fat, hands to her double chin and flabby neck. It had been strange walking from the couch to the bathroom. Everything jiggled and wobbled in a way it had not before.

She stared at the door to the bathroom for a moment. The handle was bent and twisted from when she had grabbed it in anger and shock a few moments ago. It seemed that the weight did not affect her super strength. Alice sighed. She would worry about flying later.

It took Alice several hours to come to terms with what had happened to her. She was far fatter than she had ever been, it was very strange. Alice had to spend some time learning how to get re-acquainted with her surroundings. She was able to slip off her tight costume and inspect herself.

Sure enough her large, two fold, belly drooped over her thick waist and chubby thighs. Examining her fingers, she compared them to puffy little sausages. This idea made her laugh slightly as she moved on to the next part of her body check. Eventually she reached her cleavage.

“Hmm.” She exhaled as she looked at herself in the mirror. Her breasts had gone up several sizes, which on a normal day might be good news, but they also seemed to droop a lot more than usual.

“Well.” She said to the Alice staring back from the mirror. “It could be worse…. I guess….”

She frowned slightly and watched her double chin move with her mouth. “At least I’m still healthy.”

Alice examined the door handle again. “And super strength is still an option.”

As she slipped back into her costume, flying was the only thing she could think about. Could she still do it, or had Zero’s ray possibly removed the ability?

Alice stood in the middle of her apartment. She had pushed the table over to the wall so that she could have as much room as possible. And then she simply stood there and concentrated. To Alice, it seemed like several long and tense moments passed before her feet lifted up off the floor. In reality it had taken exactly the same amount of time as it always had.

Flying with the weight was still a new experience. Her body seemed to fight her just a bit if she turned too fast. Alice would turn one way and her belly and chest would sway the other. But there wasn’t really enough room to practice flying in the apartment anyway. Still Alice cheerfully zoomed over to the space above the couch and then plopped down onto it. She was giddy with laughter. “He may have changed my appearance, but Rosie’s still in business!”

She glided into her bedroom and plopped down on the bed.

“Oh my, guess I’m going to need bigger than a twin size now.” Alice giggled.

Her bed only barely contained her large amounts of flesh and belly. Then she shook her head. “No need to get hasty. Tomorrow I’ll find Zero and reverse this.”

She removed her costume once again; sleeping in it two nights in a row might get it dirty. Unfortunately this left her with nothing else to wear. Alice cuddled up tight in her blankets and slowly drifted to sleep.

Although she slept peacefully, Alice was awoken suddenly the next morning by a loud, alarm-like, noise. “What? Oh!” She mumbled. It was the Scarlet Rose cell-phone, gifted to her by the mayor’s office. She would often receive a text when she was needed, or a call if things became super dire.

“A robbery at the bank!” She said aloud as she read the text. It took Alice a minute to remember her new size. She staggered over to her costume and put it on quick as she could. She was still incredibly tired, but she couldn’t help admiring herself in the mirror on the way past.

“Wait till the city gets a load of these curves.” She said as she ran her hands down her belly and thighs.

Alice locked her apartment, not even bothering to get breakfast. She walked onto the balcony and jumped over the edge. Then she flew way high up into the air. Alice noticed she did not fly as fast as usual, she figured it was due to the weight of course. But it was still fast enough to get her to the bank.

There were already six police cars surrounding the building by the time she arrived. Alice recognized one of them as the chief’s squad car, and there he was standing behind it, talking to another officer. She landed next to him. “

What’s the situation here?” She asked him like she usually did.

“Well,” the chief began to answer her, he had his back turned “, it looks like just a normal host-“

He had stopped talking when he turned to face her. The look he wore was one of pure surprise. “Ms. Rose? What happened to you?”

“No time!” Alice said hastily. “What’s going on in that bank!?”

The chief shook his head a few times. “Right, of course. You’d better get in there. They’ve got some hostages and it sounds like the robbers are almost done.”

Alice nodded and ran past the cars. She burst into the bank and surveyed the situation around her.

The bank robber was hastily stuffing money into the bags, his partner kept the gun aimed at the clerks. A strange silence fell when Alice burst in, she could feel the hostages staring at her in shock. One of the clerks even dropped their jaw.

"I'd put that money back were you got it!" She announced confidently.

One of the robbers turned and nearly dropped his gun. "Holy crap..."

He stared at her for a few moments.

"Is that the Scarlet Rose?" He asked his partner.

When the other robber turned, it was apparent that he too was shocked. "Damn, I think it is."

He put down the wad of cash and turned to her. "What the hell happened to you? Geez girl."

Alice smiled wickedly. She was going to have fun with this.

"I might be bigger, but now I have a bigger appetite for catching crooks." She said, patting her massive tummy. "Now boys drop the money."

Alice lifted into the air and slowly began flying towards them. "Or I'll just have to sit on you!"

“Hell no!” One of them yelled. That robber dropped his share of the money and began to run out of the building. Most men were often intimidated by The Scarlet Rose, fat or skinny.

The other robber, however, was made of some stronger stuff. He moved his gun away from the clerks and aimed it at Alice. He quickly pulled the trigger and fired one shot.

The bullet merely bounced off her stomach, causing her to giggle as it rippled and jiggled.

“Bullet proof fibers, silly!” Alice told the dumbstruck robber as she patted her belly for a second time. “And I think there’s enough mass here now I would have stopped it myself.”

The second robber ignored her and began to run from behind the counter. Alice was faster. She swooped down and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

“Put me down fatty!” he hollered This made Alice stop in midair, still holding the robber.

“What did you say?” She asked, almost daring him to say it again.”

“I said put me down you fat cow!” He pleaded desperately.

“Big. Mistake.” Alice told him, angrily. She dropped him to the ground and then dropped herself on top of him. Her massive cheeks rested on his chest while he struggled. Luckily her super strength also made her very hard to move. The former hostages stared in shock while they watched the man struggle under her. “I warned you that you might get sat on!”

Before the robber could reply, the chief burst into the bank. When he saw the situation, he breathed a sigh of relief. “

There you are Ms. Rose.” He smiled. “I was- I mean some of the other boys were worried when just one of the guys came out and you and the other one didn’t, and then we heard a gunshot, but.. but it seems you have things…. under control?”

Alice smiled and nodded at the chief.

“Yes sir. This one just needed a little extra supervision.” She said, reaching down to tousle his hair, prompting a cry of “Don’t touch me!”

A few minutes later and both men were sitting in the back of an armored police van, they were cuffed and being read their rights. Some few feet away stood the chief and Alice. The chief kept looking her up and down.

“Zero did this, didn’t he?” He dared to ask.

Alice shrugged. “I’ve been assuming so ever since yesterday. It’s about the only reasonable explanation.”

Then she laughed. “Although it could be a new power that just took a long time to manifest.”

She laughed again and shook her head to emphasize that she was just joking.

The chief nodded and began to speak

“Well I think that-“but he cut himself off. Instead he smiled, shook Alice’s hand, and then walked off to talk to the robbers. This left Alice incredibly confused. She was about to walk over to him when a female officer ran up.

“Ms. Rose!” The other officer looked frantic.

“There’s a problem that needs your attending to!” She grabbed Alice’s hand and began to tug on it. “Quick!”

Alice allowed herself to be led to the next task, sometimes being a superhero just called for these kind of days.

“It’s one of the security guards from the back of the building!” The officer explained. “They must have shot him before they forced their way in. His leg is bleeding something fierce. Normally I would call an ambulance, but we didn’t find him until just now and I don’t want him to bleed out.”

They rounded the corner and sure enough the injured man sat on the back steps, his uniform covered in blood. Another officer was there, trying to calm him down. He looked up at Alice. “Do you think you can fly this man to the Metro Hospital? He’s fading fast.”

Alice nodded without hesitation. “Of course, here hand him to me.”

She bent down and held the man in her arms. Then she shot up into the air while the officers waved to her as she flew away.

“Hold on sir!” She said and she pressed him against her pillowy flesh.

She held him upright so he didn’t suffer too much. It only took a few minutes to get to the hospital, less than a fourth of the time it would have taken to get an ambulance there and back. There were already nurses there to receive the man, the police had called ahead.

Having nothing else to do, Alice stuck around the hospital for a few hours. She wanted to make sure the guard would be alright. While she waited, several people either offered thanks or asked questions about the weight. A few doctors even offered to diagnose her. She politely turned them down, telling them she felt fine the way she was.

About two hours later, she entered the guard’s room. He was sitting upright, his leg bandaged. She walked over and gently held his hand in hers. The Scarlet Rose was known for not taking any nonsense from criminals, but she was incredibly kind to the innocent people who required her help.

“How are you doing?” She asked him.

“Mighty fine ma’am.” The guard said. “Might not have made it if I hadn’t had such an adorable escort. I must admit, you’re a very soft woman now.”

This made Alice blush. She hadn’t figured that someone might consider her new size attractive.

At that moment a doctor walked in the room. “Ms. Rose, I have the chief of police on the line. He said you need to get to the warehouse district straight away. Something about a hit on Zero. I’m not entirely sure what he means.”

Alice nodded and explained that it made sense. She said her goodbye’s to the guard and wished him a speedy recovery.

It only took her a few minutes to reach the warehouse district. She found the chief’s car, along with one other cop car. This was obviously a mission that was being kept on the down low, there weren’t as many cops as there had been at the bank earlier. The chief nodded as she landed.

“We have reason to believe that Zero has trapped himself in there with a young female, about twenty. You should get in there and make sure everything is okay.”

“Consider it done. Maybe I can lose this extra heft before the end of the day too. Then I’ll be the most attractive hero in town again.” Alice joked.

“If you don’t mind me saying, I don’t think you have ever been un-attractive ma’am.” The chief said, it was obvious he was incredibly nervous.

Alice blushed for the second time that day.

“Thanks hun, I’d better go take care of Zero now. And in the future, feel free to call me Rosie.” She winked.

“Wait.” The chief grabbed her hand and pulled her into a big hug. “Be safe in there okay? I can’t stand the thought of losing the best woman that I- that this city has seen in a long time.”

Alice was glad she was wearing a mask, or else he might have seen her eyes tear up. “Well sir, I shall do my best.”

“Please,” he said “, call me David” He returned the wink.

Alice smiled and then ran towards the warehouse. She burst through the doors. “Alright Zero! Prepare to be de-“

She froze. It took her several seconds to realize that she was staring at an immense lump of human flesh. She covered her mouth with her hands. “Oh no, what did he do to that poor woman?” She muttered to herself as she made out a large pair of feet and a massive belly button.

Whoever this was, they had to be well over a thousand pounds maybe almost two. They took up a good deal of the warehouse. She had to fly upwards to see anything above the belly. Alice blinked a few times. This person was so huge that they were indeed nude, but the breasts looked different, they seemed so sag oddly and didn’t hang outward like a woman’s breasts normally did.

She flew up higher so she could talk to the incredibly fat girl and perhaps comfort her. Then Alice saw the face of the incredibly huge being. She gasped. This behemoth of a person was none other than Zero himself. He moaned sadly when he saw her in front of him.

“Zero?” Alice called out. “What happened to you!?”

It took a few seconds to get a reply, it seemed that talking took a great deal of effort for Zero. “Ray. Backfired. Over. Load.”

His words were short and far apart, but Alice needed answers.

“And the girl?” She demanded.

“Escaped.” Came the breath.

“Well then how can we fix this? Let’s reverse ourselves!” Alice called to him.

“Ray. Broken. No. Cure.” Zero sounded very sad.

“What!? How is there no cure!” Alice yelled, now she was angry.

“Didn’t. Make. One.” He said simply. Then Zero continued to speak. “We. Are. Stuck. Fat. Ugly. Permanent. Can’t. Lose. Weight.”

Alice frowned. In that moment she decided what she wanted.

“No.” She said. “No, YOU are fat and ugly. You’ve ruined your life with evil because you felt you needed to be better than everyone else. Me? You’ve only helped me. Now I’m curvy and buxom, with people who love me and find me beautiful. I hope you feel accomplished Zero.”

She flew back to the ground and began to leave the warehouse. Alice was a little sad that her weight was permanent, but she wasn’t nearly as bad off as Zero, who couldn’t even move by himself.

The chief looked confused when Alice emerged alone. “Is he in there?”

Alice nodded. “He’s in there, and he’s not going anywhere.” She paused for an awkward moment, then continued. “He told me that the weight gain is permanent. I guess I don’t understand how I couldn’t just exercise it off but he IS a mad scientist so part of me believes him.”

She sighed sadly.

The chief put a hand on her shoulder. “Hey, don’t worry. You and I can still fight crime and the city will get used to your new image. You don’t have to quit.”

Alice let out a laugh. “You thought I was hanging up the cape?”

“You’re not going to then? I was worried you wouldn’t want to if the effect is irreversible.” The chief explained.

“No silly! Look at how well I did today, I stopped two criminals, I saved a man, and I caught my nemesis. It just proved you can be a hero no matter what size you are!” Alice said happily.

“Well, I’d better get some sort of transportation arranged for Zero, an airlift might be the kind of humiliation he deserves.” The chief smiled and began to walk towards his car.

Alice ran over to him.

“David! Wait!” She grabbed the chief’s hand and held it in hers. “Why don’t you let one of the other officers handle it? I could really use a bite to eat.”

She patted her belly as it gurgled loudly. “Today really wore me out and I have so much more room to fill now.”

She giggled as the chief began to blush.

“S-sure thing Rosie.” He stammered. “It’s a d-date?”

“It’s a date.” Alice smiled and kissed him on the cheek. “Hopefully it won’t be the only one.”

Epilogue- It wasn’t long before Alice revealed her identity to David. She wanted to be his actual girlfriend and wanted to be with him as Alice Albertson and not just the Scarlet Rose. It was not long, however, until she became Mrs. Alice Daniels the wife of the chief of police.

The two quickly discovered that Zero’s ray had not only caused a permanent weight, it had seemingly locked it in place. Alice tried running at the gym to no avail, but she also discovered she could not gain any weight either. She considered this her greatest superpower, the ability to eat without gaining. David just enjoyed the cuddling and belly rubbing.

Alice continued to be the Scarlet Rose and was able to legally join the police force, thanks to some pull from the Chief’s wife. Alice and David were able to fight crime together with no strange looks anymore. Alice just had to be careful that she didn’t kiss David while she was dressed as Scarlet. It would look bad if the chief of police was ‘cheating’ on his wife with a superheroine after all.
