A question I asked in a question and answer thread got me to thinking about my first car and all the memories surrounding it. It was a 1987 Cavalier Z24 special edition racing car. It was white (my favorite non color, color) with a pink stripe (My cousin put it on for me) and a black fin on the hood of the trunk. I sound boastful about it because I LOVED my car. I was 18 and I had bought it myself with a small settlement I had. I was the first of my friends to have a car so needless to say I was the one who drove my friends around and to parties in the woods. There was one party that was so hard to get to that I busted my oil pan going through a mud bog. Of course I didnt realize till the next day. But Yay me, My first boyfriend was a mechanic and I would get it fixed for free. I love that alot of my memories about my first car and my first boyfriend are connected. Both the car and the boyfriend have passed away and I'm convinced I'd still have that car if a drunk driver hadn't slammed into it while it was parked (no thats not how the boyfriend died). It would have been loaded with rust by now but hey, that wouldnt be any different than the car I have now.

So what was your first car and tell me the funniest, craziest, happiest, or even dirtiest(;) what? havn't you ever gone mud boggin) experience surrounding your first car
