I Broke A Chair!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share something that happened a few days ago at a friends house. We were sitting at the kitchen table when I attempted to scoot back in the chair it cracked! Felt it drop a little. Everyone got quite and starred at me😳. I got off the chair and we examined it. Slightly cracked. Everyone assured me it would be fine to sit on. I gently sat down on the chair. After several minutes of sitting on it it CRACKED!! Down I went bringing the chair with me lol. I busted and splintered the wood! I was secretly excited at the damaged I caused and even turned on! The chair can't be fixed as I was told. They actually put a recliner at the table for me to sit on, only because their was no more kitchen chairs available. Has any one had a similar experience? Or just broken a chair??
