I'd like to know if there is a decent study out there regarding the percentage of WLS patients whose surgeries fail in the long term (and by "fail" I mean a weight regain of, I don't know, 50% - 100%?). I've heard that anywhere from 20%-50% of WLS patients regain most, if not all, of their lost weight...
Of course, the number of people getting WLS has spiked so dramatically recently that I realize we might not have good long-term figures for years..
Thanks for any info.
