Just wondering if any of you people have ever been asked by a casting agent to do modeling work. And if so, how are your experiences with that?
The reason that I ask this, is because today, while I was visiting a clothing fair for exceptional sizes, I was approached by some lady who claimed to be working for a modeling agency.
She asked (almost begged) me if I was interested in modeling work for commercials, since I had a physique which they had a serious shortage in, for playing roles like for instance truck drivers (ahum! why do they NEVER see me for the brilliant scientist that I am?)
I promised her to think about it, but to be honest, I may be quite at easy with my appearance, but I'm still terribly shy and doubt that I have the nerves to do this type of work.
Anyone of you have any experience with these kind of things?
