PART ONE: HOW DO I LOVE THEE?

Giselle Taika was an all around attractive, Japanese-American young lady who was as charming as she was brilliant. A second year student at Daley Community College, located on the southwest side of Chicago, Giselle worked at a bookstore and shared a small apartment with her close friend, Catalina Austin.

Giselle had long black hair that flowed over her shoulders and her pretty face was completely round. Giselle barely reached 5’4 and though her figure was technically slender, she had a small protruding belly and her upper thighs were a borderline husky. Giselle worked out as often as possible and watched what she ate, but the arrow on the scale never pointed below 139-pounds.

Giselle understood what this meant. After all her mom and sisters were all full figured, weighing in as high as 215-pounds. It was only a matter of time before Giselle would become full figured as well.

Giselle scratched her head and then yawned as she entered the kitchen. There at the kitchen table was her room mate Catalina with a box of donuts and a large glass of milk. Giselle half smiled, then giggled, "Hey, I thought we we’re dieting?"

Catalina was an exotic beauty with long, dark brown hair, beauteous face and smooth olive skin. Her shapely, voluptuous figure was a firm 130-pounds and quite decorated. Catalina’s left eyebrow had a ring as she did her navel and around her navel was a tattoo of a heart and upon her hip a tattoo of the quarter moon. By day Catalina was a student who majored in literature, but at night she worked as a stripper at a high-class gentlemen’s club downtown.

Catalina soaked her chocolate donut in milk; "You’re the one on the diet, not me."

Giselle pulled out a chair and tossed her long black mane over her shoulders, "I can afford to put on a few pounds, I only sell books. You on the other hand can’t afford to get pudgy."

Giselle took seat as Catalina replied, "There’s never anything fattening around here to eat that’ll make me pudgy and you know I always accompany you to the work out center. So I picked up a dozen donuts on the way home from the club, what’s the harm?"
Giselle rummaged through the donuts, "You’re like, tempting me."

Catalina giggled, "Tempting you? I don’t get it? Indulging in a few sweets every once in a while is worth the risk of putting on a few pounds, what are you afraid of?"

Giselle nibbled on a plain donut, "I don’t know how Glen or Craig would react if I got pudgy?"

Glen Monahue and Craig Bryant were Giselle’s top two guys. Glen was a follow student, as smart as he was natty; he had a vast sovereign attitude about himself. Craig was a good looking young man who worked at Sears and knew Giselle from socializing in the same circle of friends. Giselle played with the elastic of her underwear and snapped it back, "Glen already tease’s me about my big tummy."

Catalina raised her eyebrows, "Ah, maybe your tummy isn’t exactly flat, but calling it big is being dramatic. You have a cuddly little pouch."

Giselle caressed her plump tummy, "Like okay, maybe it’s not huge, but it could be smaller."

Catalina loudly chuckled, "Give me a break! Your self body image is so out of whack, it’s twisted."

Giselle finished the donut, "But like, I can’t afford to get heavier. Glen already makes fun of me and I haven’t a clue about what Craig thinks."

Catalina sipped her milk, then replied, "If they really care about you, do you think they’d really care how big your tummy was? They’ll accept you as you are."

A sour expression claimed Giselle’s pretty face, "I really like them, I wouldn’t want to lose them by getting heavy."

Catalina smiled, "You know your sisters and your mom are heavy, it’s in your genes."

Giselle nodded, "Don’t remind me."

Catalina stood up and grabbed the milk carton, "I’m not saying you’re going to turn into a blimp, but it’s a matter of time before you fill out."
As Catalina refilled her glass, Giselle patted her tummy, "That’s like, why I’m dieting."

The conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door. Catalina was about to leave the kitchen, but Giselle volunteered to answer it, "Sit down and finish your donuts, I’ll see who it is. This way you can finish your breakfast and I won’t be tempted to have another donut."

At the door was Ian Westchester. Ian lived in the flat just below the girls and was a stock clerk for a tile company. Ian was a cordial young man, handsome and easygoing; he also had a major crush on Catalina. Ian stood with a package in his arms, "Good morning Giselle, this came by UPS yesterday afternoon for Catalina."

Giselle welcomed Ian into their apartment, "Yeah, I was out on a date and you know Catalina works nights. Follow me, Catalina’s in the kitchen."

Giselle thought it cute that Ian was infatuated with Catalina. Giselle’s opinion of Ian was more than a little flattering, and she wished her roommate had enough sense to court the nice young man. Catalina actually did have a favorable opinion of Ian, considering him in a different league then the usual losers she seemed to attract. However, despite his many admirable attributes, she just didn’t feel Ian was boyfriend material. Ian followed Giselle into the kitchen and blinked when he saw his heart’s content in her underwear eating a donut.

Catalina rolled up eyes, "You should have warned me so I could have put on some clothes."

Giselle giggled, "Why? I would have missed your expression. Anyways, guys see you naked all the time."

Catalina sipped her milk, then remarked, "Yeah, guys, not Ian."

Ian’s voice nervously cracked, "This came yester..er..yesterday for you."

Catalina waved Ian on over to the table and Ian laid the package down. "This must be the collection of Thomas Campion I ordered",

Catalina smiled as she opened the box with a butter knife. Ian took a step back. "Thomas Campion, huh?", Ian replied.

Clearing his throat, Ian began to recite, " There is a garden in her face, where roses and white lilies grow; a heavenly paradise is that place, wherein all pleasant fruits do flow."

Needless to say, Catalina and Giselle both had wide smiles.

Giselle applauded, "I’m very impressed Ian, nice job. I wish my guys knew romantic poetry."

Catalina snapped out of her grin, and folded her arms over her bust, telling Ian, "Stop looking at my breasts. If you want to stare at boobs, Hooters is on Cicero Avenue."

Ian’s face turned a bright shade of red; "I wasn’t looking at your breasts."

Giselle wrapped her arm around Ian’s waist, "Why do you give him such a hard time?"

Catalina bit her lip to keep from giggling as she replied, "Because I’m able to?"

Giselle began to escort Ian out of the kitchen, "I think it’s sweet he’s so well read."

Catalina nibbling on another donut mocked Giselle, "Oh it’s so sweet you’re so well read."

Giselle returned to the kitchen once Ian left the apartment. "You know Catalina; Ian’s the real thing. I wouldn’t ignore him too much longer."

Catalina spoke as she ate, "Ian’s like all the other guys I know, he like’s me because I’m beautiful. If I were a pudgy bank teller, he wouldn’t give me the time of day."

Giselle closed the box of donuts; "First off Ian’s very much the opposite of those creeps you attract. Secondly, easy with the donuts, that’s like your fourth one."

Giselle placed the donuts in the cabinet as Catalina replied, "I’ve been dancing all night, I’m hungry."

Giselle snickered, "If it weren’t for me, you would be huge."

A few hours later, Giselle was at the bookstore stocking science books when Glen approached her. "Hey, they let you break for lunch?"

Glen was a tall young man with wavy blond hair and dressed as if he was enrolled in an ivory league school, not an inner city, community college. Glen was wearing a teal colored turtleneck, white sweater and gray dress slacks. Giselle placed the last few books on the shelf and turned to Glen, "Yeah, I guess so. Let me check with my manager first."

Giselle’s manager was Rick Brock. Rick was a rather handsome young man himself with light brown hair and glasses. Rick was also a student and was in the process of writing his first novel. Giselle stood holding Glen’s hand, "Would you mind if I took a lunch break? I’ll bring you something back."

Rick’s eyes met Glen’s and Glen smugly smiled. Glen and Rick weren’t exactly friends. Rick felt Glen to be arrogant, self-centered and conceited. Needless to say, Rick did harbor feelings for Giselle, but she was already dating two guys, where would he fit in? Glen didn’t care for Rick because he thought Rick to be a little too enthusiastic about writing and was a throw back to the chivalry of yester year. Glen considered Rick to be a weakling because he was polite, honest and courteous.

Rick adjusted his eyewear, "I don’t see why not. You’re just stocking today."

Giselle smiled, "Thanks Rick, I appreciate it."

Rick glanced over to Giselle and grinned, "Your penance is bringing me back a beef sandwich."

Glen spoke up out of order; " I don’t see you giving her any money for the beef sandwich?"

Giselle planted her body next to Glen’s; "Rick can pay me when we get back."

Glen took Giselle to a small diner not far from the bookstore, where she indulged in a salad.

"Not hungry?", Glen asked as he pounced on his burger.
Giselle shrugged her shoulders as she nibbled on a salad, "I guess I’m a little self-conscious about the size of my tummy, so I’m watching the calories."

Giselle glanced over Glen’s burger, "Like, I wouldn’t mind having a burger too, if I didn’t need to watch my weight."

Glen nodded, "That’s a very good idea baby. Your belly has gotten flabby."

Giselle shook her head; "I’m trying to lose ten pounds."

Glen munched on a handful of fries, "Yeah, you really should, you know? You’re very pretty, but without your big gut, you’d look much better."

Giselle’s tummy wasn’t actually all that big, but she agreed with Glen. "Yeah, like I’m not going to wear a tube top until I lose at least ten pounds."

Glen eyed a couple of slim gals as they entered the diner, then returned his attention back to Giselle. "Want to see a movie tonight?"

Giselle tilted her head, "Actually I have plans, but perhaps tomorrow night?"

Giselle didn’t want to explain that her plans were with Craig and didn’t elaborate on the details.

Glen sipped his cola, "Yeah, okay, tomorrow night then."

When Giselle returned to the bookstore, Glen’s parting kiss was long and deliberate. Glen wanted to make Rick aware that Giselle was all his.

"Give me a call later", Glen remarked to Giselle as he walked out of the bookstore.

Giselle handed Rick his beef sandwich and Rick politely made conversation , "How was lunch?"

Giselle smiled, "It was okay. I had a salad."

Rick grinned, "Just a salad? You’re welcome to half the beef sandwich."

Giselle patted her stomach, "Nah; I’m watching my weight."

Rick looked over Giselle’s figure, "Watching your weight? Why? You look terrific."

Giselle squeezed her tummy; "I’m starting to get fat."

Rick laughed, "You don’t look fat."

Giselle giggled, "I weight more then I look."

Rick leaned over the counter, "You look fine. Even if you did put on weight, so what? You’re a beautiful young lady, no matter how much you weigh."

Giselle wasn’t sold, "Like, if I don’t start watching my weight now, I’ll get pudgy. Pudgy isn’t attractive."

Rick began eating the sandwich; "Being pudgy wouldn’t make you look any less attractive."

Giselle planted her hands over her waist, "My belly is plump, my thighs are like, husky. Trust me Rick, if I became heavier, you wouldn’t think I was so attractive."

A customer approached the counter and Rick told Giselle, "We’ll talk about this later."

Giselle began to walk away, "There’s nothing left to talk about. I’m not going to become pudgy."

Later that evening, Giselle was watching TV with Craig. Craig was a casual looking young man with black hair and goatee.

"Want a refill on your soda?", Craig asked Giselle.

Giselle looked up at Craig, "Ah, I don’t think so. It’s not diet and I’m watching the calories."

Craig took a seat next to Giselle, "Watching calories? Why? You look perfect."

Giselle smiled, "Aw, thanks. But my belly is starting to get big."

Craig brushed his hand through Giselle’s long, black hair, "I think you look very sexy."

"Really?", Giselle replied with a song on her lips.

Craig kissed Giselle and afterwards remarked, "Yeah, a little belly is sexy on a woman."

Giselle needed to ask, "What if I gained weight? Just a little weight. Would I still be sexy?"

Craig rubbed Giselle’s upper arm, "How much weight are we talking about?"

Giselle took a few seconds to think, then replied, "Twenty pounds? Would you still like me if I were twenty pounds heavier?"

Craig smiled, "Sure I would still like you, but don’t gain that much. A larger version of you wouldn’t look so cute."

Giselle nodded, "Yeah, you’re right. That’s why I’m dieting."

Craig took Giselle into his arms and tightly squeezed her, "If you got too big I couldn’t do this."

Giselle softly chuckled before they kissed.

PART TWO: COULD THY MIRROR MARVEL AT YOUR BEAUTY?

One week later.

"Oh man!" Giselle whined, as she clutched her tummy and peered down at the scale. "How did I manage to put on four pounds?"

Giselle slipped on her T-shirt and sweatpants, before joining Catalina in the living room. Catalina was half awake on the sofa watching TV and noticed Giselle’s sour expression as she entered the room.

Catalina yawned before asking, "What’s bothering you?"

Giselle frowned. "I’m getting heavier. I’ve put on four pounds."

Catalina slowly pulled herself up and upon yawning, focused on Giselle’s figure. "Ah, turn around; let me see your backside," Catalina remarked as she stretched. Giselle whirled around, her long mane taking flight.

"Well?" Giselle grumbled.

Catalina squinted as she glanced over her friend’s figure. "You look the same to me."

Giselle rolled up her T-shirt and patted her belly. "Look! Look at this! I’m getting fat!"

Catalina rested her head against the armrest. "If you put on four pounds, honey, it doesn’t show."

Giselle begged to differ as she lowered her sweats by an inch, exposing her minor tummy bulge. "Look at my belly, it’s like, getting huge."

Catalina covered her mouth as she yawned, "Hmmm, maybe your tummy isn’t flat, but it doesn’t look any different to me."

Giselle slouched as she pulled up her sweats. "What’s Glen going to say? If I get fat, he’ll dump me."

Catalina raised her slender legs up on the sofa. "If Glen doesn’t like the way you look, who needs him. There’s always Craig."

Giselle blinked. "I need him! Glen is a great guy. Anyway, Craig wouldn’t be happy dating a pudgy chick either."

Catalina closed her eyes. "Glen is a spoiled, conceited jerk and if Craig can’t accept you if you put on weight, then he’s a jerk too."

Giselle was about to reply but was interrupted by a knock on the door. She opened the front door and discovered Ian with a box of chocolates.

"I hope I’m not intruding, but I just brought Catalina something for her birthday," Ian remarked with a cheerful smile.

Giselle waved the young man in and Ian walked over to Catalina. "Happy birthday, Catalina."

Catalina opened her eyes and grinned. "Ooooh, you shouldn’t have, but thanks." She slowly sat upright and reached for the chocolates, though Giselle snatched them from Ian’s hands.

"You can’t give her these," Giselle sternly remarked.

Catalina raised her eyebrows. "But I love chocolates."

Giselle glanced over to Catalina. "But your figure doesn’t. If it weren’t for me, you’d be so fat!"

Giselle handed the candies back to Ian, "It’s a nice gesture on your part, Ian, but she doesn’t need the calories and wouldn’t appreciate the gift anyways."

Catalina stood up as Giselle escorted Ian out of the apartment. Before closing the door, Giselle nudged Ian softly on the chin. "You’re a wonderful guy, Ian, you deserve much better than Catalina."

Ian acknowledged Giselle with a nod and slowly walked towards the stairway.

Catalina walked over to her saying, "Why did you do that?"

Giselle strolled into the kitchen as Catalina trailed behind. "I did it because you’re taking advantage of a nice guy."

Catalina took a seat at the kitchen table and Giselle continued to explain, "You date creeps, but the most respectful, decent guy you know, you treat like crap."

Catalina rubbed her smooth tummy. "But I like his attention. Most guys leer at me, Ian is different."

Giselle poured herself a glass off milk. "Then why do you treat him like yesterday’s news?"

Catalina tilted her head. "'Cause it’s fun."

Giselle sipped her milk then strolled over to Catalina. "Your little game isn’t a game to Ian; he really likes you."

Catalina pouted, "Enough about Ian, I’m hungry. I could have used those chocolates."

Giselle grinned. "I should have let you keep the chocolates, then I wouldn’t be the only one with a weight problem."

Catalina whined, "A few chocolates wouldn’t have made me fat."

Giselle giggled, "A few maybe, but you would have eaten the whole box in one day."

Catalina shook her head. "So?"

Giselle walked over to the cabinet. "You eat when you’re bored, when you’re tired. That’s all you do is eat."

Catalina folded her arms over her breasts. "I’m not eating now."

Giselle turned to her friend. "I’ll make you breakfast, okay?"

Catalina brilliantly smiled, "I’ll have a couple of eggs with bacon and some toast."

Giselle nixed the idea. "You’re going to have the same thing I’m having. Dry toast with cottage cheese and an orange."

Catalina rolled her eyes. "Oh great."

A few hours later Giselle was at the bookstore drifting off into space as she stood behind the cash register. Lynn Summers approached the counter with the books she was buying and noticed Giselle in her trance-like state.

Lynn snapped her fingers. "Miss?"

Giselle looked over to Lynn and smiled. "Oh I’m sorry."

As Giselle rang up the books, Lynn asked, "You were in such a deep thought, I’m curious, what were you daydreaming about?”

Giselle bit her lip. "I’m rather embarrassed to say."

Lynn smiled, "Really? It must be something good."

Giselle looked at the big beautiful woman and tossed her hair over her shoulders, "Um, like, it’s kind of weird telling this to a stranger."

Thus Lynn introduced herself and Giselle did likewise. Giselle then admitted, "I’m dating two guys and I was wondering if either of them would still like me if I was, like, pudgy?"

Lynn smiled, "There’s a way you can find out."

Giselle squinted towards Lynn. "Huh? How?"

Lynn moved in closer to Giselle. "A few years ago, believe it or not I was an aerobics instructor and wanted to meet a man who could appreciate me for more than my slim body."

Giselle scrutinized Lynn’s well-fed figure, "How much weight did you put on?"

Lynn grinned, "That’s not the point."

Giselle placed the books into a bag. "What is the point? Oh, by the way, it’s $45.50 for the books."

Lynn handed Giselle the money. "On 59th and Kedzie there’s an antique store owned by this lady named Leah. I think she might be able to help you. Tell her Lynn sent you."

Giselle handed Lynn her change and rested her elbows on the counter, her hands under her chin. "Did you find your guy who’ll appreciate you?"

Lynn remarked with happiness in her voice, "Oh yeah, and he’s beautiful."

At first Giselle just let the invitation slide through her mind, though later that evening as she played miniature golf with Glen, he made a few thoughtless remarks. Giselle informed him that she was watching her weight and asked if she became just a smudge heavier, would he mind?

Glen rubbed his chin. "Probably not. But you’re not going to get heavier, right?"

Giselle laughed it off. "Like, I’m really going to get fatter."

The next day Giselle made tracks to the antique store just out of curiosity. Leah was dusting the shelves as Giselle greeted her. "Excuse me, but are you Leah?"

Leah tilted her head. "Yes, missy, what can I do for you?"

Giselle mentioned Lynn and that she said that Leah could help her.

Leah grinned, "Lynn Summers, yes, I remember her. A very stunning young lady."

Giselle scratched her head. "Yeah, she’s pretty all right, but I’m here because..."

Leah took Giselle’s left hand and closed her eyes. "You’re wondering which of the men in your life would accept you if you became heavier. You’re battling your weight, a losing battle I must add."

Giselle bluntly asked, "I’m going to get pudgy?"

Leah shook her head. "In two years you’ll be wearing a size 14."

Giselle withdrew her hand. "Are you, like, sure?"

Leah opened her eyes. "Quite sure. It’s a matter of genetics. Aren’t your mom and sisters full figured?"

Giselle slowly nodded, "Yeah, but I’m watching my weight."

Leah smiled, "Not well enough. I sense the guys you keep company with are cads."

Giselle danced around the subject. "Yeah, kind of, but they’re nice to me. Craig just brought me flowers the other day and..."

Leah interrupted Giselle. "You’re curious if they would still like you if you were heavier."

Giselle blushed and leaned on an old bookcase, "Yeah, I wonder if they would treat me any different? If our relationship would change? You know? If they would still care about me?"

Leah took Giselle by the hand. "Then let’s find out."

Within a few seconds Giselle stood in front of a large mirror with oak trim. "Um, this is, like, going to work?"

Leah nodded. "You’ll enter a reality where you never watched your weight. This will influence those around you, so you’ll know for sure the men who are enamored of you."

Giselle giggled, "Like, how pudgy will I get?"

Leah took a step back and shrugged her shoulders. "It depends on how long you never watched your weight."

Giselle looked directly into the mirror. "I was twenty-five pounds overweight until the last year of high school, that’s when I began my first ..."

Giselle never finished her sentence, a cold chill zapped through her body and she closed her eyes.

PART THREE : AMOROUS DESIRE FOR THY HEART ENCHANTED

Once Giselle opened her eyes, she discovered herself at school in her physiology 101 class. As the professor lectured, Giselle noticed her upper arms were quite a bit larger, as were her breasts and belly. She then glanced over her thighs and rolled her eyes upon seeing how large and thick they had become. Giselle nibbled on her pencil as she thought to herself, "I’m, like, 200 pounds."

When class finally came to a close, Giselle rushed off to the ladies' room to get a better look at her wide body. Giselle’s face was much rounder with swollen cheeks and a plump double chin. Her upper arms were husky and her breasts were clearly up a full cup size.

Giselle’s hands roamed over her soft, paunchy belly that rode over her jeans; her waist was extremely thick and flabby. A layer of fat covered her broad hips and her large, bloated rear pushed outwards over her voluminously chunky thighs. Giselle was neatly dressed in a pink blouse and blue jeans; she marveled at her unique beauty. Though her pretty face was quite pudgy and she now had a well-fed, butterball body, she easily accepted the added weight.

"Wow, I don’t look half as bad as I thought I would. I’m still cute."

Giselle stood sideways and chuckled, "I’ve got a big ol' bubble butt!" Giselle then realized her actual weight was 214 pounds. She ran a comb through her silky black hair and made tracks to her next class.

Everyone treated Giselle the same, so she surmised the same would be true of Glen and Craig. An hour later, Giselle was walking through the parking lot when she happened to see Glen walking towards his car.

Giselle waved high into the air, "Glen! Over here!"

Glen jerked his head backwards and pointed to himself, "You talking to me?"

Giselle shook her head as she hurried over to him. "Hey, how about a ride home?"

He looked confused, "Huh? Do I even know you?"

Giselle smiled as she wrapped herself around his arm. "Yeah, sure you do."

He broke free from her embrace. "I don’t think so?"

She then realized that in this reality, Glen would have no interest in her due to her size. A slim, bosomy blond chick in a tube top and shorts approached Glen. "Who’s your friend?"

Glen glanced over to Giselle as he narcissistically replied, "I don’t know who she is, but she’s getting on my nerves."

The blond chick priggishly smiled at Giselle then turned to Glen. "Want to give me a ride home?"

Giselle just stood in the parking lot and watched as Glen drove off with the blond chick.

She arrived home and was startled to find Ian lying across the couch watching TV.

"Ian? What are you, like doing here?" Giselle asked curiously.

He lowered the volume on the TV. "I’m waiting for Catalina to get home from work. She doesn’t have class today and so we’re going to lunch."

She tried to reason through this as Ian added, "I hope you don’t mind? Catalina said you wouldn’t."

Slowly, Giselle realized that Catalina wasn’t putting herself through school as an exotic dancer, but as a bank teller. Giselle remembered what Leah told her, that her being heavier would influence the behaviors of others. Catalina never watched her weight and her career as a stripper was a short one.

Giselle covered her mouth. "Catalina is pudgy too."

Ian steered his eyes away from the TV. "I’m sorry, Giselle, I didn’t hear you. What did you say?"

She strolled towards the bedroom. "Ah, nothing. I have to make a phone call, make yourself at home."

Giselle smiled as she closed the bedroom door.

This was fabulous, Giselle thought to herself. Now that Catalina was a plus-size gal, she wouldn’t take Ian for granted and would appreciate his noble stature. Giselle hopped on the bed and called Craig at Sears. Maybe Glen didn’t know her because he was so shallow, but she and Craig circled in the same clique; he had to acknowledge her.

Giselle was pleased to hear his voice say, "Hi Giselle, what’s up?"

Giselle laughed so hard, Craig needed to ask, "What’s so funny?"

After Giselle regained her composure she said, "It’s a long story, Craig, but I was wondering if you wanted to, like, hang out tonight or something?"

Craig dropped a bomb. "I’d love too buddy, you’re one of my best friends, but I can’t."

Giselle’s voice dropped a notch as her hands examined her chunky thighs. "We’re best friends?"

Now it was Craig that laughed, "Sure buddy, aren’t we? I love you like a sister."

Giselle squeezed a plump roll of fat that hung over her jeans. "Yeah, right, I know."

Craig continued, "Maybe we’ll get together Saturday afternoon, but tonight I have a date with that girl I was telling you about. You remember? She’s the chick who works at Victoria’s Secrets."

Giselle made the call short and agreed to call Craig back tomorrow afternoon to see how his date went.

Giselle left her bedroom and joined Ian on the couch. Ian turned to Giselle, "Why do you look so down?"

Giselle pouted, "'Cause I’ll never have a boyfriend now that I’m so big."

An odd expression touched Ian’s face. "What are you talking about?"

Giselle folded her hands over her big belly, "Look at me. I’m so fat and ..."

Ian leaned in towards Giselle and interrupted her. "Like, Rick is crazy about you."

Giselle’s jaw dropped as it became apparent she was dating Rick. The very same Rick who was her manager at the bookstore, the same Rick who thought she looked gorgeous, the same Rick who went out of his way to make her happy.

Giselle pulled herself off the couch. "I’ll be back in a few."

Ian nodded, "Sure. On your way back, think you could bring me a cola?"

Giselle closed the bedroom door and snatched her phone. The smile upon Giselle’s pretty face was brighter than any star, and she giggled at the sound of Rick’s voice, "Borders Books, Rick speaking, how may I help you?"

"It’s me, Giselle."

"Hey pumpkin, I was just thinking about you," Rick replied.

Giselle fell backwards upon her bed. "Aw, you’re so cute."

Rick spoke about how the bookstore seemed boring without her. "But I suppose you deserve a day off."

Then he brought up a chubby young lady by the name of Lynn. "She wanted to know if you’re happy? What’s that all about?"

Giselle massaged her huge, soft belly. "It’s a girlie thing, Rick. But if you see her, tell her everything is peachy!"

Rick laughed, "Yeah, sure." Rick then asked, "We still going out tonight?"

Giselle giggled, "Um, of course."

The conversation continued as Giselle realized Rick was the man of her dreams.

The phone call came to an end and Giselle wanted to further inspect her butterball figure. Getting undressed, Giselle was full of giggles as she scrutinized her body. Her upper arms were a tad husky and her bust was extremely ample. Her big belly flowed over her cotton underwear as a thick roll of fat squeezed over the waistband. Her chunky waist was flabby and her hips were excessively spacious in width.

Turning sideways, Giselle noticed how her enormous bubble butt stretched her underwear and the plump saddlebags that were attached to her hefty, swollen thighs. Giselle wrapped her arms around her belly and gently jiggled it. She was fat and happy. Her train of thought was broken as she heard Ian say, "Hey baby, how was work?"

Giselle grinned and dressed in a hurry. She was anxious to see Catalina. Giselle slipped on a light blue T-shirt and dark blue sweats, then rushed to the living room to greet Catalina.

Arriving into the living room, Giselle smiled at Catalina who was engaged in an embrace with Ian, an open bag of chips in her hand. Catalina looked very much the professional bank teller in a green short-sleeve blouse and knee-length black skirt. Her hair was worn up in an elegant fashion and the ring in her eyebrow was gone.

Catalina giggled and playfully pushed Ian away, before turning to Giselle. Catalina’s hairstyle flattered her fuller facial features, her round pudgy cheeks and distinct double chin. The cosmetics upon her face only amplified her beauty and the earrings she wore were nothing less than classy.

Catalina’s upper arms were larger, but firm, as was her buxom cleavage. Her full-fledged potbelly was large and round, straining the material of her skirt. Catalina’s waist was thick and her hips were unusually wide. Her heart-shaped posterior was enormous and lay over her tremendously roomy thighs.

In this reality, Catalina was no longer pressured by Giselle to watch her weight. As a result, this caused Catalina to blossom into a very pear-shaped, 255-pound uniquely beautiful young lady. Catalina’s face lit up as she smiled at her friend. "What’s up?"

Giselle looked over to Ian who stood beside his lady, then returned her attention back to Catalina. "I just think you two make an outstanding couple."

Catalina shook her head as she made eyes at her man. "Yeah, I have to agree. But you and Rick aren’t too shabby either."

Ian nodded in agreement as Catalina approached Giselle. "We’re off to lunch, why not join us?"

Giselle giggled as she snatched the bag of chips out of Catalina’s hand. "You’re always eating."

Catalina blinked, "Huh?"

Giselle tossed a few chips into her mouth. "Like, I’m just giving you a hard time."

Catalina understood that it was a joke and smiled as Giselle wrapped her arms around Catalina’s husky waist. Giselle tilted her head and handed the bag of chips back to Catalina. "Give me a minute to change into something decent."

Catalina turned to her beau and smiled, "We can do that."

Giselle grinned as she stood with her hands on her hips. "It’s my treat, so I hope you’re hungry, 'cause I have a huge appetite!"

The friends laughed.
