Greetings!

I'm kind of nervous about creating a thread as I wasn't sure where to put it and if it has been created before (I searched but couldn't find anything!). So I apologize if this is the wrong place or something that has been created before.

I've been on the road (and it's definitely a road, not a simple door) to accepting my body for the way it is. I've always been bigger and have been shamed for it. However, about six years ago, I decided enough was enough. After spending the majority of my childhood and teens always feeling like I had to change, I decided to approach it from another angle. I would accept myself the way I was. In my quest to do this, I joined many sites (including here!) and dived head first into the world of terms like BBW, SSBBW, FA, BHM, and so on.

I've wavered in my journey to accept myself as the long standing voice in my head speaks up from time to time saying "But think about how things could be thinner..." Right now I am walking the line between both sides.

My main source of education is from books. I am an avid reader and I am always looking for suggestions. My question (sorry I rambled and now I'm getting to the actual point!) is for any recommendations for size/body acceptance books. The few that I am aware of are:

The Obsession: Reflections on the Tyranny of Slenderness by Kim Chernin
(I'm about halfway through this book and I absolutely love it so far!)

Bodylove: Learning to Like Our Looks and Ourselves -- A Practical Guide for Women by Rita Freedman
(I have not read this one yet, but own it.)

And sadly that's it! A lot of books I found seemed to combine emotional/compulsive eating with body acceptance, which I understand why, but would prefer to have the subject separate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
