What is Club Round Clubhouse?
Club Round is a clubhouse where people of all sizes and ages may come together in unity for fun, support, and movement. Club Round Clubhouse offers activities for plus-size adults, teens, and children. We are a size friendly group of people where body size is accepted and appreciated. We are a clubhouse which means we are a central location that is only open to plus-size people and their supporters.
Our amenities consist of a closed off dance/exercise area, several social common areas away from music, a balcony for sitting outside/smoking, a private bathroom, size friendly seating, and free parking
Club Round offers an array of dance, social, exercise/movement, and support group functions. Club Round Clubhouse is smoke free and alcohol free. Club Round is open to receive advertisements from other BBW/size acceptance groups. We have events for people of all sizes and ages 8 and up.
Club Round offers the following activities :
Dances for plus size adults: BBWs, BHMs, FAs, and supporters.
Dances for plus-size teens ages 13-17 that are monitored.
Dances for plus-size kids ages 8-12 that are monitored.
Karaoke and talent nights, ages 8 and above welcome.
Yoga for round bodies, plus-size aerobics, and belly dance classes.
Game nights that include board, card, and other formatted games.
Massage for round bodies by licensed professional massage therapists.
Certified Nutrition Education Specializing in Health At Every Size
Size friendly speed dating for BBWs, BHMs, and FAs.
Craft and Scrap-booking events.
Love Your Body: Healthy Living at Every Size Support Group.
Stress Management Therapy Group
Eating Disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, etc.) Therapy Group
Club Round Clubhouse is open to the community but also has members only VIP privileges.

Women's Specialty Vendors Mall. Club Round welcomes vendors that pamper, soothe, clothe, beautify, exemplify, and otherwise celebrate women! Accepting vendor applications now! Contact Lisa at Club Round. Vendors rent a table for $15.00 for the day, set up at 2:00 p.m.

Nutrition Counseling at Club Round
Beginning March 25, there will be a licensed dietitian available for nutrition counseling on nutrition, eating and feeding problems. Call 815-639-0300 to schedule an appointment.
Edie Applegate is a registered licensed dietitian and faculty member of Ellyn Satter Institute. She is also a certified Diabetes Educator and credentialed to provide nutrition services for Early Intervention, special needs children aged 0-3. She retired after 32 years experience at Rockford Memorial Hospital and Rockford Clinic. There she helped many people improve nutritional intake, maintain enjoyable pleasurable eating and support dietary changes either for good health or as a part of managing medical problems such as diabetes, high cholesterol and gastrointestinal problems. There she initiated counseling for families who had concerns about their children's eating and growth was not gaining fast enough, gaining weight too fast, or were picky eaters. Since retirement, she is the sole proprietor of Down to Earth Dietetics. Major contracts have been with Head Start as a nutrition consultant and with Early Intervention.

Belly Dance Class: M-W-F 7:00 p.m. - 7:50 p.m.
Cost
$75 for 3 days/week for one group session.
$65 for 2 days/week for one group session.
$55 for 1 day/week for one group session.
For both group sessions $135 for 3 days/wk
$125 for 2 days/wk for both group sessions
$115.00 for 1 day/wk for both group sessions.
Classes will be given by Zalihta Pegeese, Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
