i found myself asking that question a lot. on one hand i can understand wanting to educate the public. on the other hand most people are just going to treat you the way they want to treat you anyway. do you think it really makes a difference to people why you are fat? has knowing the reason ever made a difference long term in how anyone treated you? and if it did how did you feel about the reason making a difference? did you feel vindicated? or did you feel like it shouldn't matter?
