So, I have an eye condition that isn't ever going to go away. Eye makeup has become a real issue, and I realized that a lot of eye stuff just makes my eyes hurt like crazy. [Powdery stuff, particularly with any sparkle to it is the worst.] It's gotten to the point where I don't even wear mascara.
But... I have some events coming up for which I'll want to wear makeup. I'm trying to think of makeup options. I don't want to invest a ton in stuff that just isn't going to work. Has anyone had any luck with eyelash stains instead of mascara? Any reputable brands make good mascara samples? [Fresh mascara is a big thing for a lot of women who have this same condition, based on asking this question in a special forum.] Any other ideas for other eye makeup that won't get flaky and get into my eyes, that can hold up to heat and oily skin, and that contain minimal irritants... not just brands but products ?
