Nothin' fancy here, just a thread to post your favorite pictures from the internet or from your personal collection.
Obviously, if there's another thread that better suits your needs, go there (i.e., the Recent Picture of You or Caturday threads), but this is for random image dumping of pics you absolutely love.*
For the sake of the forum servers, here's a quick tutorial on the use of imageshack:
1) Go to: http://imageshack.us/
2) What picture are you looking to upload? Imageshack supports images both straight from your computer, or from another website.
2a) If you have an image on your computer you'd like to upload, leave Imageshack on the default setting of "upload: image", and click the "Choose..." button to find the pic on your computer.
2b) If you have an image from the internet you'd like to upload, select "upload: url", then copy the URL of the image (using the (Image) Properties command), and paste it into the box that says "paste image url here".
3) You can resize the pic if necessary by clicking the checkbox.
4) Click Upload!
Once the image is loaded, post the image - use either the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" code, or the "Hotlink for forums (1)"code to post your image here.
(If you don't mind an extra step, copy the "Direct link to image" code, then click the "Insert Image" icon in the board's toolbar, paste the URL Imageshack gave you in the box, and it'll post the image just as itself.
And it's just that simple:
