So, I was hired to create a theatrical piece to premiere in NYC in October. The gig is called 'The Globesity Festival". I was originally helping out my friend with some research for it and I got roped in to participate. (i.e. they made an offer I couldn't refuse)

Anyhow, there is a catch to this. All the artists participating had to fast for 10 days; to be in an ascetic state in order to create a theatrical piece/meditation about consumerism in all aspects of American society.

In the 10 days that I did this, I lost about 30 lbs. The loss was compounded with being ill (unrelated to the fast) at the time. IT WAS HELL. Its all documented on my myspace blog for your perusal if you are interested.

BUT I AM BACK!!! I've been bouncing back to my old weight of 450lbs slowly but surely. I've put back at least 5 lbs in the last 10 days, and I can't wait to fill out again. I've just returned to my bagels and cream cheese, chorizo tacos, roast pork w/rice and beans etc and I am SO HAPPY!!!

More artistic weight gain theatrics to come in the next month in preparation for this piece. I'll keep y'all posted...with pics to follow.
