I guess this topic might fit here as I can't see anywhere else to put it. Too bad Hyde Park was too volatile to keep up because that would have been the appropriate spot.
Have you ever known someone who was a pathological liar? Do you think pathological lying is a serious condition of some sort or does it relate to having a complete lack of ethics, integrity or conscience?
Have you ever been someone who was a compulsive liar? If so, how did you heal and get better or do you still have problems with this?
What factors do you think contribute to someone becoming a compulsive liar over time? I know someone in my family who exhibits these traits and in this situation, I think their constant lying stems from having a lack of integrity. Not sure if it relates to anything involving low self-esteem...although I can at times see wanting to inflate the ego, as a cause.
