This is something I've been wanting to do forever, but I only not find myself attempting it. I eventually want to get into catering. I know I've got the cooking skills, it's the marketing I have to work on. So my question (and reason for posting this on the foodee board) is because I want to know from you guys:
if you paid for a personal chef to cook your meals (usually just dinners), what would you be looking for to set them apart from others?
One thing I plan on doing that I know will set me apart from others is that for any prospective client, I will offer samples of the average menus. But what I'm mostly looking for is certain recipies that will set me apart from the others. What's your favorite food that you'd love to have osmeone cook for you? What's something you with you could have on a more regular basis? Basically.... if you hired me.. what would you want me to cook?
