Parents angry over school's refusal to mistreat transgender student

"I despise it. We're Christians, we don't believe in this all these different types of males and females, you know what we have now," said meeting attendee Patty Crabtree. "We have slowly watched all of our rights, our Christian rights are being taken from us. We are tired of it."

Good on the school for standing firm and upholding the poor girl's rights.

Also, for the conservatives in the peanut gallery - her right to use of the correct gendered facilities is upheld by Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits sex-based discrimination. This has been found and upheld by numerous courts to apply to transgender people as well as cisgender.
