I just wanted to say thank you to all who post on these boards. I looked around this site for the first time a year ago and came back a few weeks ago. A lot has changed over that year about how I feel about myself, but I am still very new to this idea of fat acceptance, after spending most of my 41 years believing that no matter what else I was - smart, funny, beautiful - that being fat counteracted all of it.

Reading these posts and seeing the beautiful pictures people post have really helped to open my eyes and my mind up. Just wanted to say thanks from a newbie.
