Now that I'm done laughing, I can finally post this.
Someone called me thin. It wasn't a compliment or an insult - it was what the person really believed.
Everytime I think about it, I start giggling! Thin? I haven't seen thin since I ate it many, many years ago.
The whole story is in my BLOG.
The effect that word had on me delighted me. There was a time in my life when being called thin would've made me happier than anything on Earth. Sad, but true. But now - it makes me laugh and scares me a bit too. I don't want to be thin!
That led me to think about the power of words. What words have you changed for yourself? What word no longer has power over you?
