The word obesity is thrown around a lot nowadays in mainstream culture. One of my ex's use to hate that term. She would tell me that she would rather people call her a whale than obese. That's how ugly she said the word obese was.

Obese is a word definitely used in a strongly negative way. Yet, I can't help but, get turned on whenever i hear that word. I guess it comes from me getting excited hearing that word on TV since it meant I would get to watch some hot SSBBWs on a news report, talk show or documentary.

Years ago fat activists reclaimed the word fat. Do you think the same can be done for obese? Probably not, but whenever i hear some fat hater go off on the so-called "obesity epidemic" I feel like loudly proclaiming, OBESITY IS SEXY!
