When I first got my dog about 6 years ago, the rule was no going upstairs to the bedrooms and no getting on the furniture. A few years ago he decided it was okay to go on one of the couches if no one else was home. (I learned from a dog trainer that we implicitly told him this was okay by coming home and telling him to get off the couch.)

Lately he's decided that it's really okay to go on that couch if I'm upstairs working. He knows how to push the boundaries. Hmmmm. Aren't pets tricky?

What liberties are your little schnooks taking?
