Dromond
Pleasantly abstruse.
In this hypothetical, the southern states of the US, meaning the states that seceded during the Civil War (Tennessee, Virginia, the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas) decide they've had enough and declare their intention to secede again. This time, instead of fighting to keep them, the rest of the US says "good riddance." A bloodless parting of ways.
For those of you living in the United States, would you move? If you live in the new CSA would you move north, and vice-versa? What do you think would happen to the two after the split? Would both prosper? Would one do better, and if so which one? Would both suffer? Would relations between the two be good, neutral, or hostile? What about NAFTA? Would the new CSA apply, and if so would the new USA allow them in? All sorts of questions abound!
