Serenely stuck in The Sixties . . .

Currently in movie theatres: Echo in the Canyon, a highly recommended (by me) documentary about Rock groups who defined and were defined by the "Laurel Canyon music scene" and "The California Sound" in Los Angeles, California circa 1965 to 1967. Profiled groups include The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, The Byrds, The Mamas and The Papas, and, too too briefly, The Association. Among the rock icons interviewed: Jackson Browne, Eric Clapton, David Crosby, Tom Petty, Michelle Phillips, Ringo Starr, Stephen Stills, and Brian Wilson. If you were around during The Sixties and loved Rock Music, Echo in the Canyon is a nostaglic Must-See!
