Yet Another Knee Thread: What shoes do you have?

I'm in the OA of the knees club (as well as back and ankle joints. Ugh.). Sandie S. had mentioned good athletic shoes making a difference in her case. I'm never happy with the shoes I get, whether I shell out $50 or $150. One of the problems is width- they never seem wide enough. I'd love to get a pair of comfortable athletic shoes, preferably the velcro kind.
