ok, so what do you propose as your top animated movie?

A personal favourite? It has to be a combination of spirited away, princess mononoke and finding nemo.

Spirited away for absolutely brilliant art direction and stunning visual representations, backed up by an engaging story and well rounded characters, such as the greedy cruel witch Yo-baba, whose horrible to her staff, but so welcoming to guests and kind to her baby, and the spirit No-face, who is really just like a child, despite his disturbing appearence. Even the stink spirit, who is a monstrous being of sludge, is animated really well, so the sludge falls over to top of him, giving his feel a horrible gooey, fluid quality.

Princess mononoke for much the same thing, but with a brilliant eco-friendly moral to the story. The natural environment and the landscape of the piece is vast and awe inspiring in its art direction that makes most cartoon movies seem bland by comparison. Also, what studio Ghibli (who also do spirited away) do nicely is attention to detail, and even with the demon, the way that the little parts of him wriggled off like worms added that extra sense of care for the piece.

Finding nemo, simply because of its fun attitude, witty humour, and some wonderfully poinent moments in the script that makes people really stop and think. It is a brilliant Collaberations of voice talents who, though not famous, were all giving an absolutely superb performance.

well, thats mine in a nutshell, all i well recommend seeing.

what about yours.
