I've been enjoying the thread that Webmaster started about the enduring quality of music from the 60's. I love classic rock and would add music from the early 70's as well.

I'm curious to hear the personal stories about your favorite groups, concerts you attended or what the music meant to you then. Webmaster talked about Leonard Cohen, someone that went completely under my radar. I listened to one of Cohen's YouTube videos and liked it. So share you stories and YouTube videos. This will be fun!

I saw Simon and Garfunkle in concert in Chicago in the late 60's. There was a huge crowd and they were on a bare stage, sitting on wooden stools. Nothing flashy, just playing their guitars and making great music.
