So, I have been meaning to bring this up for along time but with school and work I just haven't gotten around to it. Anyway I learned about this Columbian artist Fernando Botero in my second semester Spanish class and was wondering if anyone has heard of him and what you thought of his work.
Here is link to a site with his work (the site is in spanish but its real easy all you need to know is pinturas=paintings, esculturas=sculptures, dibujos=drawings)
http://www.lablaa.org/blaavirtual/museobotero/listabot.htm
His art depicts everything very big and plump, and not just people but animals, instruments, fruit, whatever.
