hopefully this is the best subforum to post this thread.
I recently gave into online dating. The thought of it before seemed so tacky to me, but going out and trying to meet people is really hard for me too.
Ive been to sites like plentyoffish, okcupid, and a few other sites that reel you in with a "try free" scheme only to have you upgrade to do anything later.
So anyway, i've been at it for i think 2 weeks now and i havent really gotten anything. ive gotten a few responses, but they usually end it 1 or 2 messages.
as far as I know im not asking anything creepy, just stuff like: hey hows it going? What kinda stuff are you into?
Can anyone tell me how this stuff works? Maybe what I'm doing wrong?
