I volunteer for an animal rescue, and we are terribly short of funds, probably due to the economy We were doing fine until the past 6 months or so, but now we are in need of animal food as well as having 3 animals who need to be altered
When I was able to work, I made up any shortfalls myself, but now that I am on SSDI, I can no longer do that. I truly hate to beg, but I just cannot provide for them.
We are a 501c3 charity, so any donations are tax deductible.
Should we make more than $300 from this fundraiser, the money will go to help other animals in need. I am now living in a poor county and the need is great.
