I was having a discussion with a friend the other day. She said to me that anyone weighing over about 16 or so stones MUST have an eating disorder.
I know that from experience a lot of my bbw friends have admitted to suffering from compulsive eating disorder or are comfort eaters. Though i argued that there must be a lot of people who just like food!? There must also be socioeccomomic issues at play and social reasons ie. cheap high fat foods, sedentry lifestyles etc..
i am curious to know how many of you consider yourselves to suffer from an eating disorder.
I think this is another confliction that Fa's come across. Because while on one hand i love Fat people i hate the idea that someone is suffering from a mental illness which makes them feel out of control and makes them suffer. Im not saying "being fat" is a mental illness btw but eating disorders are.
thoughts and oppinions?
