In many ways my younger brother is a great brother, so I am not looking to sever my relationship with him. But, he is driving me crazy. Any advice would be great.

He used to be a fat man, 350-400 pounds at his heaviest. Then he decided he was miserable being fat and he went on Weight Watchers and got thin. After he lost his weight, he met the woman [thin model type] of his dreams. Now he has decided that I need to be saved from my fat.

I'm the only unmarried one in the family, which he attributes to my size. I go out a lot, and am busier than I can keep up with most of the time, but he is convinced I am terribly lonely without a husband. He also is convinced I will fall apart health wise unless I get myself thin.

Now I have nothing against anyone losing weight if they want to. But, I do not enjoy having someone else obsess about me doing it. When I object to his efforts, he backs off for the time. Then it starts again. he has even hinted about hosting an intervention!

Any thoughts on how to deal with this? How do you convince someone that you are really OK with yourself and your life as you are?
