I'm a People junkie (we get it at work, so I get to read it for free
) and they had an article in it today regarding patients who have had WLS and have traded their 'addiction' to food for something else. One woman became a compulsive shopper, another an alcoholic, and the other started smoking again. The Dr they quoted in it stated that it happened to less than 5% of WLS patients.
Anyway, I'm not against WLS or anything, but just thought it was an interesting article
